Programmable Portable RF Communications Jammer
The C-Guard TXP ECM is powered using either its own internal rechargeable batteries, car batteries or an AC 110/220V power supply giving this portable anti-IED jammer total mobility in the field. Lightweight and installed in a ruggedized pelican-case with trolley wheels it can be carried easily by one person in tough field conditions.
Since the C-Guard TXP ECM is easily and rapidly deployed in the field, it is ideal for combat situations where access by an anti_IED vehicle is not an option. Rechargeable, hot swappable batteries are ideal for long field mission profiles.
The jammer cuts off cellular and other wireless communication between terrorists and the RCIEDs (radio controlled improvised explosive devices ) they intend to detonate by blanketing the area with radio interference and preventing radio signals from reaching the radio receiver used to detonate an IED.
